No one hurt Made Jun 1, 2014, sent to the company Jun 9, 2014, published by CPSC Jun 30, 2014
The product, in the report: Work boots Item: 550044261. Mod#: M BR WHEAT BRAVO.
BOUGHT A PAIR OF BRAHMA WORK BOOTS at local Walmart for the third pair in a row. Over the course of the summer, one boot began to stink quite badly. Nothing worked to alleviate the smell. Got rid of boots and bought another pair of same brand. Within a short time both boots began to smell quite badly. As I continued to wear them I noticed an arthritis like ache in my ankles and then spread up to my knees, making it hard to stand up after kneeling. This became progressively more pronounced and said boots smelt even more loudly. Medicated foot powder would leave a yellowish, custard like saturation on the bottom of my socks, of which I changed every day. Gave up and bought a pair of [REDACTED] brand boots and within a month, the aching symptoms began to abate. within two months all symptoms were gone. I believe, quite strongly that there is a chemical used in the building of these Brahma boots that is dangerous to me and other consumers. I saved one of the boots, in a gallon sized [plastic bag]. I would like to send you this boots for you to try and determine if it is indeed a threat to consumers. The incident date below is an estimate of the first time I noticed irregularities.

No one hurt Made Dec 22, 2011, sent to the company Mar 2, 2012, published by CPSC Mar 16, 2012
The product, in the report: Black leather nylon shoe with textile lining
The consumer says he bought a pair of shoes. He didnt know for a year what the problem was, but he was getting blisters on the bottom of feet and legs. He saw an article online from a Guy from TX, and others getting chemical and allergic reaction when these particular boots get wet. The consumer went out for two days while in rain. On the third day, toes were blue (12/4/09). About 16 days later, feet were blue (12/21/09). The consumer had an ultrasound done on veins and everything was okay. He also had heart, blood and urin checked and nothing was found. Consumer never found what was inside the shoes, but when your toes and feet turn a bluish color, it must be those brahma shoes. Consumer sent the shoes in a box to ESJS, they had it for 110 days, [REDACTED] said he sent it to Hong Kong, China, they would not let him have the paper work on what was inside those shoes. They said it was company policy. Consumer told doctor at Sea-Mar Health Center that he has 7 small dry cuts on his fingers. He could not explain why but in 2010 he knew those brahma shoes he wore- the fuzz was coming apart, it may be some sort of chemical or dye reaction. It was getting on his white socks and he removed it with his fingers. By the way, those Brahma shoes were degradded inside. This is all true.
