The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Bogs boots. Black, youth size 2

It was brought to my attention today that my 7 year old son has fallen every day in the hallway at his school since he’s been wearing his new boots. The snow came early this year, and end of September we went and spent $95 on a pair of popular Bogs neoprene winter boots for him. They’re ok outdoors, but as soon as he goes inside on the smooth floor the combination of the grip, material, and snow on the boots makes them a death trap. It’s been estimated that in the last two months he has fallen flat on his bum over 30 times from these boots. My boy is highly coordinated with off the charts gross motor skills. If this is happening to him, it has to be happening to other children too.
