The product, in the report: “Solana Gear Heat & Massage Neck Wrap” I have notified the company of the issue and asked them to voluntarily take some steps to notify you and get these products off the market. It is my understanding that they have failed to do either.
My client purchased four neck wrap products (Solana Gear Heat & Massage Neck Wraps) All four of the products are dangerous and defective in the same manner: 1. When used pursuant to the instructions, the product overheats and causes signifintcant burning and damage to the skin. 2. When used pursuant to the instructions, the product began to have a burning odor, discolored the fabric (from gray to a faded brown), and the wires burned through the fabric When my client reached back and attempted to adjust the product on her neck, she burned her finger. She discontinued using the product after her injury. 3. The product is designed to use wirelessly after charging. The product only works if plugged in. She purchased more than one so that one would be available in wireless mode while the other charged.
