Report from Engine Company. Dispatched to above location for a possible house fire. Upon arrival there was nothing visible from the exterior. Residents had evacuated structure and I confirmed with them that all were out. My partner did a 360 of the exterior while I went inside to investigate. There was no haze or smoke but a slight smell of something electrical. During investigation we found a melted plug for the owners back massager. We unplugged the massager and took it outside. We also advised the homeowner to replace some electrical cords that posed some problems and she replaced them right away. E-23 was back in-service at 17:43. End Report. 12/03/2016 06:51:48 [REDACTED]

The face of the power supply had started to melt for this massager and heating pad. The wire from the transformer had been pinched at some point. Unknown if this was before or after the transformer began to melt.
