The product, in the report: The product is Power Pro muscle massager, item #PB074, Model HG320/03110. It is distributed by Pinnacle Brands in Rutherford New Jersey. It is a cordless rechargeable hand-held muscle massager. It is the size and shape of a hairdryer, but has a nob on the end that pulsates into the muscle. The item was purchased in December 2021 and has been used approxmatley 5-10 times. It came with 4 different massage head attachments and 1 power adapter/
My Power Pro musscle massager was plugged in for charging. I smelled something like melting plastic and went to look for the source. As I approached the room where the device was charging, I heard a loud bang. I entered the room to find black soot and pieces of the device around the room. There were bits of melted plastic on the furniture, floor and walls. A new metal trash can was dented and there was a divot in the drywall.
