The product, in the report: NeeDoh Nice Ice Baby toy - manual compressible stress relieving device

I am reporting a potential chemical hazard regarding the NeeDoh Nice Ice Baby toy (Item 25274NAB). Upon opening the packaging, the product emitted an extremely powerful and persistent chemical odor, resembling acetone or nail polish remover. I am adult and I was using the product as directed, i.e. manual compressible stress reliever.

Despite multiple attempts to wash the items with soap and water, the odor remained embedded in the material. More importantly, brief handling and exposure to the fumes resulted in some physical symptoms, including headache and shortness of breath which resolved after I placed the product back in its packaging.
