The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. First aid

Made Oct 10, 2018, sent to the company Oct 22, 2018, published by CPSC Nov 13, 2018

The product, in the report: The Myobuddy Pro percussive massager places professional grade deep tissue, warming, trigger point and cutting edge vibrational massage technology in the palm of your hands, providing instant relief to muscle soreness and myofascial pain. Features vibration + percussion + heat. Feels so good it’s hard to believe. 3 different massage levels Soothe Sore Muscles & Ease Myofascial Pain Treat Trigger Points & Everyday Aches & Pains Warms Muscles Pre-Workout & Quicker Workout Recovery Reduces Stress, Anxiety & Insomnia Includes 1 White Plush Bonnet and 1 Blue Lotion Bonnet 30-day Money Back Guarantee & 1-Year Warranty & Free shipping

I purchased the Myobuddy massager Pro at a booth in Zuma Beach at a triathlon. The girl who sold it to me told me it is great for all areas and demonstrated on my shoulders. I told I suffered from migraines and this would be great for my head and neck and then proceeded to purchase it. When I got home I tried using it on my neck and shoulders. The product has 3 speeds and I was on the second. You have to go to the third speed to be able to shut it off. Suddenly as I used it, my hair got caught and the massager continued to turn pulling my hair harder and harder. The only way to shut it off was to go up one speed and then to off which would have been more pain and dangerous. I screamed for my daughter who came and unplugged it from the wall and untangle my hair so I could get loose. A huge chunk of hair had been pulled out of the head causing terrible pain. I have left email, voice and messenger messages for the company and nobody bothers to respond even though they have a 30 day money back guarantee. This product is dangerous and if a necklace gets caught someone could strangle. A stop button in the least needs to be on it for emergency.
