  1. Emergency room

Made Dec 26, 2025, sent to the company Dec 30, 2025, published by CPSC Jan 14, 2026

The product, in the report: Product name: 9-Piece Penis Plug Urethra Sound Male Sex Toys Catheter & Probe -Male Silicone Dilators Catheters & Sounds Set Penis Plug Urethral Training Waterproof Soft Silicone Construction Product color: Black Product size: each probe is 11.8 inches long with a diameter ranging from 0.12 inches to 0.39 inches

Official Incident Report: Urethral Sounding Product Injury 1. Who was using the product? The product was used by a male adult (the undersigned). The user has prior experience with similar products and is familiar with the necessary safety and hygiene protocols for urethral sounding.

    2. What type of product(s) were being used? The product is a “9-Piece Penis Plug Urethra Sound Male Sex Toys Catheter & Probe,” marketed under the brand JINSOUCHEN and sold by the storefront jincheng-us. The product is a variety pack of urethral sounds ranging in size and intended for insertion into the male anatomy. The manufacturer specifically marketed the items as being made of “highly elastic silicone material to ensure safety and harmlessness.”

    3. How were the product(s) being used? The product was used following strict sanitization and safety procedures:

Inspection: Upon unboxing, visual defects (surface irregularities and production flaws) were noted on two of the nine pieces. These defective pieces were set aside.

Sanitization: The selected sound was washed with antibacterial hand soap and dried with a lint-free microfiber cloth to prevent debris transfer.

Lubrication: Sufficient water-based lubricant was applied to both the toy and the anatomy.

Insertion: The toy was inserted gently and carefully. It was removed without any immediate visible trauma or blood on the device.

Post-Use: The user experienced minor discomfort (standard for this activity) which subsided, and the items were disposed of immediately after the session.

    4. What happened that made you want to report? The user suffered a severe, systemic infection and internal bleeding directly linked to the use of this “Best Seller” product. Despite the user’s high standards of hygiene and careful use, the product introduced life-threatening bacteria into a sterile environment. Crucially, Amazon was notified of the medical emergency on 12/25/25, yet as of this reporting, the product remains active with a “Best Seller” badge, posing an immediate risk to the public.

    5. Were there any injuries that happened or may have happened? Yes. The user developed a severe Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) with Hematuria (blood in the urine).

Medical Evidence: Emergency Room laboratory tests (urinalysis) confirmed a Red Blood Cell (RBC) count of “Too many to count.”

Systemic Symptoms: The user suffered from severe chills, dehydration, and a dangerously elevated heart rate (Tachycardia) of 140 BPM upon hospital admission.

Diagnosis/Treatment: Positive test for E. coli. Treatment required two IV bags of sodium chloride, IV [REDACTED], and a 7-day course of [REDACTED] antibiotics.

    6. How did any injuries occur? The injuries were caused by a breach of the “safety and harmlessness” warranty. The manufacturing defects on the silicone likely harbored bacteria or created micro-abrasions in the urethral mucosa that allowed E. coli to enter the bloodstream/urinary tract. The infection manifested approximately 48 hours post-insertion, leading to internal bleeding and the subsequent ER visit.
