Incident Report: Catastrophic Product Failure / Safety Hazard Product Brand: TYMO Product Type: Hair Blow Dryer Date of Incident: 11 OCT 2026
I am writing to report a severe and dangerous safety failure regarding my TYMO blow dryer. While using the product normally, the device experienced a sudden, catastrophic internal malfunction. Within moments, the plastic housing began to melt rapidly, and the internal components violently shattered and shredded inside the barrel. The tool became completely unusable, presented an immediate fire and electrical shock hazard, and destroyed itself from the inside out during standard operation. Injuries: None Property Damage: None Current Status of Product: The unit was immediately unplugged to prevent an electrical fire. I have safely stored the physical unit and am retaining it as evidence of this hazardous manufacturing defect. Clear photographic evidence of the melted and shredded device is attached to this report.
