No incident, no one hurt Made Feb 28, 2024, sent to the company Mar 12, 2024, published by CPSC Mar 26, 2024
The product, in the report: This product is a hair dryer, and the brand name is Tideway. The hair dryer I bought is white and looks very similar to a [REDACTED] hair dryer, but the plug of this hair dryer does not have an immersion protection plug; it’s just a regular plug. You can find their official website by searching for Tideway on [REDACTED].
I came across a recommendation for a hair dryer product on [REDACTED], under the brand Tideway. So, I purchased a Tideway hair dryer through the link to the store. After bringing it home and opening it, I found that the product has a serious safety hazard because it does not have an immersion protection plug, just a regular plug. We have not been injured yet, but they have already sold tens of thousands of units. I am worried that someone might get hurt, so please respond in a timely manner to prevent unnecessary injuries or fatalities.
