No one hurt Made Aug 18, 2013, sent to the company Aug 26, 2013, published by CPSC Sep 10, 2013
The product, in the report: Hand held hand dryer-hot pink in color, silver handle, grey cord.
Drying my hair with a T-3 micro hair dryer. It sounded strange, the next thing I know the blade inside had broken apart and hot small pieces of plastic fell out the nozzle. I threw it in the sink so I would not be hit with anymore hot plastic parts. This dryer is only 8 months old.
