The product, in the report: Rx7 Professional Ceramic Superlite Hair Dryer 1,600-watt ceramic hair dryer with infrared-heat technology Engineered for all types of hair Three temperature settings Includes two ionized nozzles Lengthy 8’ power cord Removable air filter Neon light indicates drying setting Dries hair quickly Helps achieve smooth, static-free hair Dimensions: 8.5”x7.5”x3”; 3lb.
While using the hair dryer, it suddenly stopped working. I noticed that if the cord moved a little, it would try to restart. As I gently wiggled the cord, I heard a loud pop and saw a large spark. It blew a hole through the cord. After this happened, I read reviews of the product on Amazon. I found that this had happened to others, even causing one person’s shirt to have a burn mark on it. I was fortunate that my hand was just below where it sparked or I would have been burned.
