The product, in the report: High-speed hair dryer, model G99-B, MinHuang brand styling / sold under Hair Care logo
I have owned this hair dryer October 2024. Last night, while unplugged from use and switched off, the unit turned on by itself in the middle of the night while unattended, with the heat setting active. When I went to turn it off, the power switch/off button did not respond and had no effect. I had to unplug the unit from the wall to stop it. This represents a fire/burn hazard given the device activated unattended with heat engaged and the safety switch failed to shut it off. “Yamici” or model G99-B this looks like one of the many small Wenzhou-area OEM factories that white-label hair dryers for resale under different storefront names (like “MinHuang” on your unit), which makes it very hard to trace public complaint history.
