The product, in the report: Joy Mangano JOY 1875-Watt Ion Technology The Single Touch Hair Dryer™ Color: purple My son also has same one in color black

I was using my Joy Hair Blow Dryer that was purchase from HSN. I had only had it on for about a minute or so when I felt a zap then something exploded inside the blow dryer. I immediately dropped it out of my hand but was hesitant to unplug it as it was making a zapping noise. I did unplug it but was petrified of being electrocuted or it causing the house to catch fire. When I picked it up off the floor, I looked to inspect it. I noticed a plastic piece that was sticking out of the blow dryer. What ever it was from inside sounded like a broken light bulb sounds like.
