Emergency room Made Jun 3, 2018, sent to the company Jun 11, 2018, published by CPSC Jul 2, 2018
The product, in the report: Ionic pro hair dryer in black
I was blow drying my hair a when the dryer started sparking and overheating. One of the sparks made contact with my middle finger on my left hand and now I have a burn on it. I work in the emergency room so I had one of the doctors look at it the next time I worked and he said it was a 2nd degree electrical burn. I was given ointment to put on a few times a day. It is now a few weeks later and the burn is still very sore and inflammed. I expect to speak to someone who can properly address this issue with me. I called when it happened and was told someone would call me back but have not heard from anyone.

No one hurt Made Jul 8, 2013, sent to the company Jul 15, 2013, published by CPSC Aug 5, 2013
The product, in the report: Hair dryer
From the day I bought the hair dryer, the part that you hold has been extremely hot. So hot that I am unable to hold it correctly. It has now begun to melt inside every time I use it. If I were to leave my hand over that spot, I would have 1st or 2nd degree burns.
