The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Hairitage hair dryer

So I was electricuted by their hair dryer that they sell at Walmart. This happened with no water present. It electricuted my finger. Left hand. Middle finger. The date that this happened was April.20.2023. I reached out to the company by the “contact us” part on their website the same date this happened. I received an automated email message saying they received it and will reply back. It is now May.16rh and I have not heard back from the company. I have also reached out to them via [REDACTED] on ([REDACTED] is their [REDACTED] name) on April.30.2023 with no reply either. A [REDACTED] search for a phone number came back with a number no longer in service. I still have the hair dryer, as I was hoping the company Hairitage would want to make sure nothing is faulty with it since this should not have happened. I have screen shots of my messages and me writing my Dr’s office to ask them what I should do.
