The product, in the report: GVP Pro 1800 maroon hairdryer.

On November 2nd I was using my GVP Pro 1800 hair dryer which I had purchased in Sept of 2014. I turned it on and I heard a loud pop and the hair dryer started on fire! I was not injured and luckily I hadn’t started blow drying my hair, otherwise my hair would most definitely started on fire.

Made Apr 16, 2015, sent to the company Apr 24, 2015, published by CPSC May 15, 2015

The product, in the report: Silver and black blow dryer with two different speeds and two different temperatures.

I was blow drying my clients hair last night during a service and the blow dryer nozzle popped off and landed on my arm and burned me extremely bad. The spout of the blow dryer had melted down so bad that my nozzles won’t even stay on. I haven’t had the blow dryer a year. It still works but gets too hot. I can only imagine what it’s doing to my clients hair if it burned my skin that bad.
