The product, in the report: Jerdon Products Hair Dryer Model JWM6CF marketed as “First Class”. Wall Mount unit - 3 Speed - White
While drying her hair, my wife noticed a burning smell. When she pulled the dryer away from her head to examine it and with the dryer fan still operating, flames began to shoot 2 to 3 inches out of the nozzle. She had to pull the plug to disconnect the device. Had she not noticed the smell, she most likely would have been burned. There was no apparent breaker switch that activated.
The product was purchased approximately 2 years ago as is a dryer sold by Jerdon Products of Richardson, Texas and was marketed under the name “First Class”. It’s model number is JWM6CF
