The product, in the report: Xtava Allure 2200w Professional Ionic Ceramic Hair Dryer - 2 Speeds - 3 Heat Settin

On October 3, 2018 I was using my Xtava hair dryer when it suddenly shut off. That had never happened before. I checked the reset button and it had not been tripped. I unplugged the hair dryer and waited a minute. Then I plugged it back in and hit the yellow test button to make the reset button pop out. Then I pushed in the reset button and turned on the hair dryer and it worked. I held it up to dry my hair bur after a few seconds of operation it suddenly sparked and flames and sparks shot out of the base of the hair dryer, burning the inside of my arm and shocking me. This was very distressing and painful. I had to scrub off black plastic from the wound which blistered the next day and continues to be painful after 4 days.
