  1. No incident, no one hurt

Made Feb 21, 2026, sent to the company Feb 27, 2026, published by CPSC Mar 13, 2026

The product, in the report: TYMO Hair Dryer with Adjustable Diffuser - High-Speed Ionic Blow Dryer, Fast Drying & Zero Damage, Low-Noise Hairdryer, 3 Speeds & 4 Temps with Cool-Shot for Professional Styling at Home Salon Travel B0CPDJFQ42

Purchased a blow dryer oct of 2024 and use it for hair styling few times a week . The dryer recently turns it self on randomly when I put it down even after turning it off while its still plugged in . I have tried reaching out to the manufacturer through their Amazon store front and they requested photos. Photos can not show that the dryer is on with all off button so I asked for another form of communication like an email so I can send them a video which is not available to do through their Amazon messenger. They did not provide me with another form of communication as an option and requested photos only on their Amazon messenger. I sent photos and explained how it can not show proof thats its blowing while turned off in a photo . I did some research and found their email address on their website and I sent them a video and advised in the messenger communication to look for that email. I believe this is a safety hazard and I tried to emphasize that to the manufacturer so far they have done anything to correct it.
