What’s wrong with it?

THIS CAN RESULT IN INCREASED STOPPING DISTANCES AND A POSSIBLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT.

ON SOME VEHICLES, THE SEALING SURFACES FOR A HYDRAULIC BRAKE HOSE ON A FRONT BRAKE CALIPER WERE COVERED BY PAINT RESIDUE.

BRAKE FLUID GRADUALLY DISSOLVES THE PAINT, OPENING A SMALL PATH BETWEEN THE SEALING SURFACE AND THE GASKET ALLOWING BRAKE FLUID TO LEAK WHEN THE BRAKE IS APPLIED.

DEALERS WILL REMOVE PAINT FROM THE BRAKE CALIPER, REPLACE COPPER GASKETS AND BLEED THE FRONT BRAKES.
