What’s wrong with it?
The notice gives no hazard in a field of its own.
WELDMENTS ON THE WHEEL LIFT WHICH ATTACHES THE HYDRAULIC CYLINDER TRUNNION TO THE CYLINDER MAY FAIL.
DESCRIPTION OF CONSEQUENCES: FAILURE OF THE WELDMENTS ALLOWS THE TRUNNION TO SEPARATE FROM THE CYLINDER, PERMITTING THE EXTENSION ASSEMBLY OF THE WHEEL LIFT AND THE VEHICLE BEING TOWED TO DROP TO THE GROUND.
THIS MAY LEAD TO AN ACCIDENT.

- Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
