What’s wrong with it?
The notice gives no hazard in a field of its own.
THE INVOLVED ANTI-LOCK SYSTEM CONTAINS AN ELECTRICAL COMPONENT THAT IS NOT OF EATON SPECIFICATIONS.
ALSO, AN OPENING OF A SOLDER CONNECTION EXISTS BETWEEN THE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD AND ANOTHER ELECTRICAL COMPONENT.
THIS CAN CAUSE THE ANTI-LOCK VALVE SOLENOID (COILED CURRENT CONDUCTING WIRE) TO BE CONTINUOUSLY ENERGIZED.
THE BRAKES IN THE AXLE, BEING CONTROLLED BY THE AFFECTED ANTI-LOCK SYSTEM, MAY BECOME INOPERATIVE.

- Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
