THE FRONT WHEEL RIM CLAMP STUDS, INSTALLED ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES, MAY NOT HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED CORRECTLY, CAUSING A BRITTLE CONDITION IN THE THREAD ROOT AREA.

THE STUDS COULD EVENTUALLY CRACK AND BREAK WHEN WHEEL NUTS ARE TIGHTENED TO SPECIFICATIONS.
