What’s wrong with it?
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.
Daimler Trucks North America, LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Freightliner Business Class M2, 2022-2027 FCCC XCM, FCCC XCR, 2023 Freightliner 108SD, 2024-2027 FCCC XCS and FCCC XBS vehicles equipped with certain Cummins L9 diesel engines.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
