What’s wrong with it?
An air leak can cause the unintentional activation of the brakes. Reduced brake pressure can increase the distance required to stop. Either scenario increases the risk of a crash.
Wartech Engineering, LLC (Wartech) is recalling certain 2022-2025 SpecialContainer trailers.
The incorrect threaded piping fitting may have been installed between the anti-lock braking system (ABS) module and the air tank.
The fitting may leak air, decreasing the pneumatic brake pressure.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
