What’s wrong with it?
Incorrect belt orientation may cause the tires to fail and increase the risk of a crash.
Great Dane Trailers (Great Dane) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Champion Dry Van trailers equipped with Bridgestone R123 Ecopia tires, size 295/75R22.5.
The tires may have been manufactured incorrectly with one of the three stabilizer ply belts applied in the wrong orientation.
As such, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 119, “New pneumatic tires - other than passenger cars.”

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
