The short answer

NHTSA received Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)’s report on Feb 13, 2025. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 27, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver’s visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain Mopar Center Stack UPR Displays with part numbers 68375145AG, 68375145AH, 68474166AG, and 68474166AH.

The display (DCSD) contains a transistor that may overheat and prevent the rearview camera image from displaying.

As such, this equipment fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, “Rear Visibility.”

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
  • Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
