The short answer

NHTSA received Columbus Trading-Partners USA, Inc.’s report on Feb 14, 2025. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 28, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

A detached harness will not properly restrain a child, increasing the risk of injury.

Columbus Trading-Partners USA, Inc.

(CTP) is recalling certain Cybex Aton G, Aton G SensorSafe, Aton G Swivel, Aton G Swivel SensorSafe, Eos and Aton G Swivel Travel System, Eos and Aton G Travel System, Libelle and Aton G Travel System, and Beezy and Aton G Travel System child seats.

The harness hip anchorage retention hooks may bend, causing the anchor pin to loosen, and the harness strap to detach.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
  • Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
