What’s wrong with it?
Overloaded electrical circuits can overheat, increasing the risk of fire.
E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2024 Commercial, Cyclone N, Typhoon N, and Typhoon EV vehicles equipped with Hercules HC 1.7 multiplex nodes.
In the event of a short circuit or wiring failure, the firmware in the node may fail to shut off the output pin, resulting in overloaded electrical circuits.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
