What’s wrong with it?
A rearview camera image that does not display decreases the driver’s visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain Mopar rearview camera modules with part numbers 68598674AF, 68617886AD, and 68617887AD.
Incorrect software in the rearview camera module may cause the rearview camera image not to display.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
