What’s wrong with it?
A coupler that separates can allow the trailer to disconnect from the tow vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
PJ Trailers is recalling certain 2022-2024 LD, LY, LX, LS, CC, DD, TJ, and TS trailers equipped with a Demco EZ Latch Gooseneck Coupler.
The coupler mounting bolts may loosen and cause the coupler to separate from the inner tube.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
