The short answer

NHTSA received JD E-Commerce America Limited’s report on Nov 28, 2022. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 19, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

An incorrect installation label may result in an improperly installed child seat, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.

JD E-Commerce America Limited (JD E-Commerce) is recalling certain Marainbow Portable Infant Safe Seat child seats.

The installation labels display incorrect instructions.

The child seat’s design also prohibits it from being installed properly.

As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, “Child Restraint Systems.”

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
  • Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
