What’s wrong with it?
An overloaded electrical system can increase the risk of a fire.
Black Series Campers Inc.
(Black Series) is recalling certain 2020-2021 C12, C13, C15, HQ12, HQ15, HQ17, HQ19, HQ19T, HQ21, and HQ22T trailers equipped with Curt emergency breakaway kits, part numbers 52041 and 52044.
When the breakaway system pin is pulled and not replaced, the system battery may become depleted and draw electricity through the main battery.
This can overload the electrical system.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
