What’s wrong with it?
If the landing legs buckle, the trailer will drop unexpectedly, increasing the risk of property damage, personal injury or death.
Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Cyclone and 2020-2021 Bighorn Traveler, and Elkridge recreational trailers.
Due to insufficient bracing, the front landing legs may buckle and collapse while the trailer is parked.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
