The short answer

NHTSA received Agility Fuel Solutions’s report on Apr 8, 2020. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 20, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

If the fuel system ruptures from being exposed to heat, there would be an increased the risk of injury.

Agility Fuel Systems (Agility) is recalling certain CNG Pressure Relief Devices, CNG Valves and CNG Fuel Systems that include an EMER pressure relief device.

The thermally activated pressure relief devices (PRDs) installed on CNG fuel systems may not vent the system when exposed to heat, potentially resulting in the system rupturing.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
  • Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
