What’s wrong with it?
A fire increases the risk of injury. An engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.
Forest River, Inc.
(Forest River) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Starcraft All Star XL vehicles equipped with diesel engines with fuel module option number FS90301 or FS90453.
The electric fuel heater within the fuel module may overheat and cause plastic in the fuel heater to melt and potentially catch fire.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
