What’s wrong with it?
A fire increases the risk of injury. An engine stall can increase the risk of crash.
Navistar, Inc.
(Navistar) is recalling certain 2017-2020 International DuraStar and WorkStar, 2018-2020 IC Bus CECB, International HV and MV, 2018-2019 IC Bus 1300 FBC and HCCB, and 2019-2020 IC Bus TCCB vehicles equipped with Cummins B6.7 diesel engines with fuel module option number FS90301 or FS90453.
The electric fuel heater within the fuel module may overheat and cause plastic in the fuel heater to melt and potentially catch fire.
It may also lead to engine stalling.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
