What’s wrong with it?

The reduction in the braking system pressure may cause a loss of braking power in the rear braking system, increasing the risk of crash.

Transfer Flow Inc - Chico, CA (Transfer Flow) is recalling certain rear brake lines used for mobility van conversions.

The brake lines may have incorrect tube nut fittings installed, which may cause a pressure drop within the braking system.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
  • Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
