What’s wrong with it?
If the cover separates from the truck bed, it could be a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
DiamondBack Automotive Accessories, Inc (Diamondback) is recalling certain DiamondBack HD and SE three-panel hard tonneau truck bed covers produced between March 28, 2018 and March 1, 2019.
If the front panel section is not properly secured and locked, the front portion of the cover assembly could lift and separate from the truck bed while the vehicle is being driven.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
