The short answer

NHTSA received MORryde International, Inc.’s report on Feb 21, 2019. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 20, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

If the stop bracket rivets fail, the cargo tray may disconnect and detach from the frame, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.

MORryde International, Inc.

(MORryde) is recalling certain recreational trailer chassis that are equipped with Cargo Trays with carpeting.

The affected trays, part numbers CTG60-48115W and 48105W, have rivets that secure the stop bracket to the cargo tray which may shear due to having insufficient strength.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
  • Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
