What’s wrong with it?
If the wheels loosen, a loss of vehicle control may result, increasing the risk of a crash.
TAP Worldwide, LLC (TAP) is recalling certain LRG Rims 8-Lug aftermarket Wheel Center Caps, models LRG107 and LRG108.
These wheel center caps may not seat properly, creating interference between the wheel and the mounting surface which can cause the wheel to loosen over time.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
