What’s wrong with it?
If the vehicle is loaded to its maximum passenger capacity, the rear tires may fail, increasing the risk of a crash.
Phoenix Motorcars (Phoenix) is recalling certain 2015 Zeus 300, and 2015-2017 Zeus 305 shuttle vans built on a Ford E-350 chassis.
When the vehicle is fully loaded, it may exceed the Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) and the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR).
As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 119, “New Pneumatic Tires-Other Than Passenger Cars,” and number 120, “Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars.”

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
