Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.
What’s wrong with it?
If the caliper bolts are improperly torqued and the caliper detaches from the mounting flange, a loss of braking ability would occur, increasing the risk of a crash.
LBC Manufacturing (LCB) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Pitbull roll-off trailers, model numbers PB47 and PB40, manufactured with MPA/MTA suspensions equipped with Meritor EX225 brakes.
The brake caliper bolts on these axles may not be properly torqued which can allow the caliper to detach from the mounting flange.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
