The short answer

NHTSA received Accessible Technologies, Inc.’s report on Oct 19, 2017. Copied from NHTSA on Oct 28, 2026.

Every line below is in NHTSA’s own words, with its source beside it.

What’s wrong with it?

A brake fluid leak may lengthen the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Accessible Technologies, Inc.

(ATI) is recalling certain ProCharger Superchargers, model numbers AB037A-100, AB037A-100P, and A037A-100B, sold for installation on 2012-2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and SRT vehicles.

The supercharger mounting bracket may contact and damage the ABS line, possibly resulting in a brake fluid leak.

What the record doesn’t say

  • NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
  • Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
  • How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
