What’s wrong with it?
If the joint were to break, the detached track bar would cause a loss of steering, increasing the risk of a crash.
Carli Suspension is recalling adjustable track bars, part numbers CS-DPRB03 and CS-DPRB14.
These track bars were sold for use on 2013-> Ram 3500 4X4, 2014-> Ram 2500 4X4, 2003-2013 Ram 2500 Diesel and Hemi and 2003-2012 Ram 3500 diesel trucks.
The track bars have a Johnny Joint rod end that may break, resulting in the track bar detaching from the axle.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Which ones, by part or lot: the recall’s report on NHTSA’s site gives them where the maker did; this file gives part numbers only where its maker listed them.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
