What’s wrong with it?
If the supplemental brake fluid label is missing, the operator may use an incorrect brake fluid which could damage the brake system and increase the risk of a crash.
CSC Motorcycles, LLC (CSC) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Cyclone motorcycles manufactured April 4, 2015, to November 10, 2016.
The affected vehicles may not be equipped with a supplemental label that reminds the user to clean the brake reservoir before adding brake fluid and to use DOT 4 brake fluid from a sealed container.
As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 122, “Motorcycle Brake Systems.”

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
