What’s wrong with it?
If the bogie detaches, there would be an increased risk of a crash.
Hyundai Translead is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 HT Hycube, HT Composite-XT, HT Original, and HT Composite 28’ trailers manufactured September 20, 2012, to May 7, 2013.
The affected vehicles have I-beams that may crack.
If the cracks extend, the bogie may detach.
These trailers have been identified and have been listed in the file attached.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- This recall names only model years before 2015, which have no pages here. Your VIN, at NHTSA, says which recalls are open on a vehicle.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
