What’s wrong with it?
If the engine can be started while a mechanic is working on the vehicle, they have an increased risk of injury and or death.
ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, LLC (ARBOC) is recalling certain model year 2016 Spirit of Liberty vehicles manufactured November 7, 2014, to July 29, 2016.
In the affected vehicles, the rear engine-run lockout safety switch may have been improperly wired, and as a result, it may be possible to start the engine while the vehicle is being worked on by a mechanic.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
