What’s wrong with it?
Partial tread separation can increase the risk of a crash.
Mack Trucks, Inc.
(Mack) is recalling certain model year 2017 Pinnacle CHU and CXU trucks manufactured March 9, 2016, to May 19, 2016 and equipped with Goodyear G399A LHS 295/75R22.5 LRG tires.
The tires on the affected vehicles may have cured improperly causing an incomplete adhesion, possibly resulting in a partial tread separation.

What the record doesn’t say
- NHTSA’s recall file doesn’t say whether anyone was hurt. Owners’ complaints are counted on each vehicle’s page.
- Whether one vehicle or seat has been fixed: only its maker, or NHTSA’s lookup with a VIN, can say.
- How many have been returned or fixed isn’t in the notice.
